Overview
Sri Maha Periyava has clearly stated that without the blessings of our ancestors, no effort in life bears complete fruit. Guided by His teachings, during the sacred Mahalaya Paksha, Pitru Tarpanam and Brahmana Bhojanam are arranged for all fifteen days at renowned Pitru kshetras such as Kasi, Rameswaram, and Gaya. Devotees of Sri Maha Periyava participate on the respective tithis of their ancestors, offering prayers and fulfilling their Pitru duties with devotion and sincerity. This collective observance enables spiritual continuity, ancestral peace, and divine grace for families across generations.
Sri Maha Periyava Quote “Without the blessings of the ancestors, nothing attains fulfillment.” — Sri Maha Periyava
